My daughter recently did a report in school on this topic. They say that in one of the scenes in the book that a woman laying on the beach does not have a bra on.Now I looked up this page in the book and I never would have noticed it myself. She is laying on her stomach and you can only barley see a side of her breast. This is not the 1800s" kids are seeing much more then that in television commercials, and computer games. This is just a fun book,my daughter and I both took the stand that it was foolish to ban this book in her report. What do you think and wh? Just curious Jas

What happened? People are so uptight nowadays. They're trying to ban everything left and right. Harry Potter is evil, a woman on her side is demoralizing our country, magic tricks are related to satan. I don't get it.

We've turned into a lawsuit happy country is what happened. Anything that frustrates us, we call up a lawyer and threaten to sue because people just do not like when they don't get their way. Instead of just not allowing their children to be exposed to what they don't like, they have to make it so other children have to suffer because they're up tight. Not every parent has issues with everything, not every parent is closeminded and that doesn't not make people bad parents.

are you serious, this is crazy, wow, amazing, they keep garbage in libraries and remove art and history, I love the waldo books, I have not read them in years, but I remember them growing up, this is so sad and silly. I agree with you. Is there anything that is being done to help stop this crazy move of insanity? wow

That's sad. I know for a fact children see more than that all the time. And her laying on the beach on her stomach is nothing compaired to some of the stuff that are pictured nowadays. I haven't heard of this but who actually looks for that stuff? Really now. That's just rediculous.
