I just saw a documentary about how the album Hysteria was made.Joe, both Ricks and Phil told the story and I just sat there and remembered why I loved these guys back in the day. They were and still are the only band that I like every member equally the same. The music they made was unique and yet was real rock n roll.It had been years since I had even played a Def Leppard song. Are you a Def Leppard fan?

I'm not exactly a BIG fan of theirs, but I do have two of their albums on CD's (High & Dry & Pyromania). It does seem that they've been through a lot, particularly with their drummer. I do wonder if any other bands can say that a member of their band is a one-arm drummer. It seems that he can still do pretty well.

Yeah - I have seen a recent concert of them on youtube, & they did show him in action. I doubt that any other band (of any kind of music) can pride themselves as having a one-armed drummer. I'm sure that they would not have kept him if he wasn't good. Thing was, I heard that it was a motorcycle accident, but I also heard that it was a car accident.

He is still a great drummer. In the documentary they said that 3 weeks after the accident, he was having a new drum set built.

Yeah I am I love def leppard but I can't say I like ALL their songs hehe but I have been listeing to their music since I was 16 so it's quite a long time . ANIMAL is the first song I heard by DEF LEPPARD and I loved it then I got the albums , Hysteria then Adrenalize and Pyromania and On through the Night . I still listen to "Rock's Off" all the time it's great guitar play . And Pour some Sugar on me is great to listen to in car with volume turned all the way up . Rocket too and Armageddin it yeah yeah Did you know their drummer lost his arm yet they kept him on and he continued to play for them ? That's a cool thing to do . Most other rock band members are too cynical for a gesture like that , especially successful rock musicians they are like businessmen !!

My favorite is Love Bites. But the first Def Leppard song that I would hear at full blast was Rock Of Ages.I was a fan way before Rick lost his arm.So when he lost his arm, I remember thinking that he would never drum again. Man I was wrong!

Real rock n roll.... you are so right. I really liked Def Leppard back in the day. It seems like I go too long without hereing one of their songs and then one will play on a classic rock station and it takes me right back.

Def Leppard rules. Their music has a great beat and pretty much all of their songs are different. I have the DVD documentary on their album "Hysteria" I hope they have a concert near where I live. If they do I am so going! That would be the best thing ever to happen. :D

The last concert I saw was a Def Leppard concert. It was a good one. I wouldn't say they're in my favourite band (that woud be the Kinks) but they're up there. I love the fact they recorded the Kinks' Waterloo Sunset on their covers CD.
