I'm not a morning person, and I totally hate it when people woke me up in the morning for nothing! Because when I was awake, I can't go back to sleep anymore, which then makes me very sleepy in the afternoon.. Today I almost "killed" my brother when he woke me up and ordered me to run some errands and do something for him which he was supposed to do it yesterday. I was on sick leave and finally I thought I could rest at home and restore my health. Grrrrr...

It was irresponsible of your brother to not do what he was suppose to and doubly for then asking you to do it. Not only where you sick but it was his things to do. It may help to lower the volume on your phone and let the machine get it if you have one. SOmetimes I hate it but I turn my phone off when I really need to get rest. It's not like it will be off for long an hour or two. If anything happens in that time that is important they have my cell phone number to call. If it is any family or friends.

It's a sad and actually normal situation unfortunately. I remember when my brothers and I lived at home. I was always having to do things for them. I got into trouble when they did. No matter what, I was told I should not have let them do whatever it was, even if I was not there. Really odd how some parents can be. Too bad yours won't let you lock your door.

Having known him for all my life, that's the way he is, I knew I will be wasting my energy trying to reason with him what to do or what not to do. I will just be angry and scream and shout when I'm alone to vent out my anger lol. And no, he didn't call my at my phone, better if he do so, because I could ignore the rings lol. He came into my room and wake me up before he goes to school, which is very early. Too bad I can't lock my room because I will get scolded by my mom.. =((

I've always been good in the mornings ... it's in the early afternoon I start to flag. Sometimes I doze off in front of the telly at about 8.30pm - but when I go to bed I can't sleep. On the odd occasion we do manage to have a sleep in, I find the extra sleep makes it harder to get up, and I then feel bad tempered most of the day.

Oh yeah, totally understand that! I don't like taking a nap and can't get up eventually, and the grumpiness after waking up lol. I wonder how do people actually could get power naps of a few minutes, that helps..?

I know the feeling. I've been known to throw my pillow across the room when people try to wake me up. I've never been a bright ray of sunshine in the morning, but some days I get downright mean when I don't want to get out of bed. It usually takes a cup of coffee or two, and an hour to myself to really get me ready for the day.

LOL! When people wake me up, I get annoyed and kick the wall and make those funny sounds, cursing them! But when I wake up myself, I will just sit at the edge of my bed and "stone" for a few minutes before dragging myself to the bathroom, sometimes I even doze off in there ahahaha! I will get angry when people disturbed me during this time too!

I'm a morning person in the way that I'm often awake until very early in the morning, it's 3am right now, for example. However, getting up in the morning to go to work or school or whatever? No thanks! I'm always really grumpy. I'd much rather "sleep in" until noon or so and then stay up later into the night. I'm a night person. I always seem to accomplish way more at night than I do during the day.

Hmmm, sounds familiar, that was me when I haven't started working (2 months ago), I will also stay up till very "early" and I love doing all my work at night, it seems more peaceful and quiet for me to concentrate, usually I was using or playing my computer lol. Missed those days =/

I hate being woke up! If someone wakes me up I tend to be crabby all day. If I wake up on my own I am fine. It is so irritating to be woke up for silly things. I don't sleep well so I tend to be a bit mood about being woke up.

I don't get to sleep in very often, so my family knows better than to wake me up too early. My father leaves for long trips early in the morning, so he'll come in and wake me up, but I understand that situation. If it's been a really long day/night, I'll put up a sign on the door that tells of the certain danger of waking me up.

Lol, good, at least your family knows not to wake you up unless necessary!
