No, especially if the decision involves the other partner. I guess it does depend on the nature of the question and what's involved. For example, if I found an old PS1 or Mega Drive game going for £5 I don't think my partner would have a problem with that. However, if I spent £200 on a new games console without telling her beforehand, I don't think she'll be that happy! I would always mention things to her first if it involves a lot of money, or some time away from her, etc. When you're in a relationship it's important to try to consider the feelings of your partner. After all, a relationship makes all people involved as one.
