The new season of America's Got Talent started last night and as usual there were some very lousy ones and also some with a lot of potential. The little girl Kaitlin was so sweet and the last guy (Neil)who sang opera was phenomenal and his story was gut wrenching. I got emotional along with the audience.

What do you think?

Kaitlin was adorable - and actually quite good for her age. And, I teared up with her mom AND with Neil. I'm getting to be a softy in my old age.
I was also impressed with the two teenaged brothers who played violins. They must have overcome a lot of teasing in their growing up!

I too have become somewhat of a big softy. The 80 year old lady certainly was not much of a dancer but I give her credit for trying.

And what about the 80-year-old tap dancer?!? Her act wasn't Las Vegas quality, but my goodness what stamina the woman has.

I have also been waiting for it as I really loved last years winner and I was so pleased to hear about his (Terry Fator) 100 million dollar contract in Vegas. Will you go and see his show?

I agree she was adorable. She may not win it all but she will be remebered for a long time. My favorite right now is the clogger group.

You are right! I will certainly remember her but I do not expect her to win.

Strings was very unexpectedly good. I did not know what to expect. Neil was so emotional about his mom he had me in tears.

I was trying to watch the show last night but it kept getting interrupted as their was really bad weather in the area. I did see the last guy I don't like opera but he was good and his story was sad.

I don't like opera but this guy was good. And I got to say since his family lives about an hour from here the local news channel was doing a section on him.
But I absolutely adored the little four year old. My 8 year old had tears in her eyes when the judges said yes.
But she laughed her butt off on the 80 year old dancer.
