"In sickness or in health until death do us part"What does it mean?

When your getting married they got these vow ceremony saying:
I (blabla) take you (blablabla) to be my lawful husband/wife to have and to hold,
from these day forward, for better ,for worse,for richer,for poorer in sickness and in health until death do us part.
But after few months,years, that vows forgotten and a lot of married people got devorse, seperated, the married got annulled.And some other person got these worse problem and becouse of it the married life goes into bad condition.Is everybody whose getting married just to say that becouse they need to say it? Or it is mandatory to say?Does they mean it when they are saying it infront of lots of people who attended in thier wedding and infront of God?I dont get it. Now a days it is easy to get devorse to some country but ofcourse there is some country who is againts devorse.But i want to know to all married person.Did you meant it when you said your ceremony vows?

The Pastor who officiated our wedding had somehow changed this traditional vows, instead he order us to speak what we wanted to say to one other. This made the vows more of a personal thing and I could really feel deep inside what I was trying to say to my wife during our wedding.
Wedding is a solemn and divine matrimony. It is a celebration of love, where 2 people (man and woman) are joined together and will become one.
It is just a pity that people nowadays are not taking wedding seriously.

Yes they are trying to do different now a days.I think thats a very good idea then you can say what you really feel.And i still believe in marriage.Yes indeed that some people doesnt care about the true meaning of marriage,some people take marriage not seriously just get married for no reason.Get drunk and get married.That cost them devorce.for my idea you should think about very hard if you want to get married or not.Or you have to be sure if you love the person really much to marry her/him.take care your self,Have a nice day!
