Do you enjoy cover songs? I love cover songs when they are unique and different from the original. What are some of your favorite covers? Some of my favorites include: Scott Simmons version of Rihanna's 'Umbrella', Tori Amos' Cover of 'I Don't Like Mondays', HIM's cover of 'The Reaper', Gary Jules' cover of Tears For Fears' 'Mad World' and Kill Hannah's cover of 'Rebel Yell'. The bands Rasputina and The Dresden Dolls always do really cool and unique covers, especially live. I love finding live recordings online of cover songs they've done. Are there any songs that you know a lot of covers of? For me the ones I have the most versions of are 'Enjoy The Silence' and 'Personal Jesus'.

Oh, yes definitely, I enjoy a lot of cover songs, because I have found that some versions, I actually like better than the original! The ones I have found very good that I really like are; 1. The Beau Brummels and the Mavericks had a version each of Tom Jones'"It's not unusual" that I really like! 2. Carlos Santana had a version of "What does it take to win your love", that was very good! 3. Eric Clapton had a version of "Love don't help nobody" that was just as good as the original! 3. Don Johnson had a version of "tell it like it is" by Aaron Neville , that was very, very good, also! Oh, and thank you for the best response you gave me, on "the 80's" discussion!

I haven't heard any of those cover songs. I may need to check them out. I always love when a cover is better than the original. It's nice when someone can put their own spin on someone else's song and make it like a whole new song.
