Why do people put things off?

I have a bad habit of putting things off. Search the word procastinator in the dictionary and my picture would be there! I don't know if it's laziness but some experts say it has something to do with fear. Fear of the outcome/results that may come about after you've done it.

Procrastination is seriously laziness. I don't believe that people put things off for fear of the outcome. Unless of course they have some sort of anxiety. In wich case they need professional help to get past that.

I've thought of that too. Maybe I'm just too lazy to do things I should do right away instead of leave it for another time. But then, that's the hard part cause now the problem is.. how do we cure laziness? Hahaha. Thank you for taking time to respond to my discussion! I really appreciate your thoughts on this subject!

I take pills too so that I won't be so lazy. Without them I have no motivation or focus to do anything. I think people put things off because they feel like it's not important to do now. But, if we do things right away then we can get them out the way.
