Would you donate blood?

Hi there Katherleen! I would definitely donate blood to someone who needs it. I have done this before. I think about two or three times. It feels great to be able to help people.

In a heartbeat -- pun intended. Sadly, bloodbanks don't want my blood for a handful of reasons, so I'm no longer able to donate.

I had donated blood before. Now I am not able to donate blood. One of the reason is that I am having diabetes and they do not take my blood. I am always happy to donate blood.

Yes Katherleen, I would donate blood if some some one of my blood group who needed blood urgently. I think saving someones life is the best thing we can do.

I've never given blood.But, if there was an urgent need and my blood type matched, I would definitely give if I was eligible. My husband and I were in the hospital visiting a friend's Dad. He needed blood quickly, so four of us went to the hospital lab that night to be typed. It turned out that not one of us was able to give. But, I had been willing.
