Recycling old phones for boots advantage points....

If you regularly shop at the boots store (in england i dont know if they have them anywhere else?) then you will know what an advantage card is. I got a leaflet today with some points coupons and on the back of the leaflet is says that if you recycle your old phone through boots you get some advantage points... how many depends on which phone it is. Do you think it is worth doing that? If its an old phone you probably would get much if you sold it anyway? They also donate some money to charity for any phone that is listed on their website.
