My biggest problem is that I really don't want to. And I haven't. Others just seem to stop and call it a willpower thing. I need to want to. How did you feel about this when you stopped ? Or didn't you ?

i used to smoke but i am no longer doing it for seven years already. if you dont like to stop then dont. this is your choice. i stopped smoking because of my children and for my health as well. the hardest part is when you go to places where there are a lot of people who are smoking is the hardest battle i faught. i am a singer and at bars and disco where i sing a lot of people smoke there. so it is really hard to control. but i am proud to say that i made it.

I agree, you need to want to quit if you're going to try. I was only a smoker for about a week or two, and then I stopped. I stopped because I was thinking about all of the health complications it could and probably would bring up as I got older. If you end up trying, replace it with something else. Whenever you want to smoke, go to the gym instead!

I never started smoking, so I guess I don't have to think of the problems I had giving it up. LOL I'm still trying to encourage my husband to quite smoking, though.
