Received my First Star Today!

Logged onto my account today and replied to a discussion and found I had a little star with an 8 in it.
I must admit, I hadn't really taken notice of these stars previously but when I looked up the details in the FAQs, it felt quite nice that I had achieved it in such a short time and thanks for the rating:)
Think that's another post for my blog, I have been so favourable to one of the other sites where I have been earning well; hopefully the next myLot post i write after this one will be about finally reaching $10 in another month or so..as the earnings increase ever so slightly.. LOL:)
It's great fun though that I have stopped thinking about the earnings on here altogether and just enjoy responding to the discussions.
How about the rest of you,lucky with the stars? Are you enjoying it or is it another chore?:)

The star above your name will appear once you have made 100 posts (So keep on posting). The stars differ in color and level number which represent your reputation in myLot. Your reputation is determined by the number of users who made a positive rating in your discussions/post. Reputation is a measure of how good your discussions/posts were and is rated by different users of myLot community.
Once you get a star (yehey!), when you hover your mouse over it, you will see your rating like this: 85/100. The highest rating is 100.
Different colors of star are (from highest)
Level:10 blue 95/100 to 100/100
Level:9 red 85/100 to 94/100
Level:8 yellow 75/100 to 84/100
Level:7 white 65/100 to 74/100
Level:6 pink 55/100 to 64/100
Level:5 green 45/100 to 54/100
Level:4 violet 35/100 to 44/100
...
Having a star in your name makes a credential in discussions (well that's an advantage i can see). Some say it helps a little bit in your earnings.

Good job! im not exactly sure what the stars really mean. i am still learning as i go. im only at 3.88 and ive been on here almost 2 weeks.

Congratulations on receiving your star. Alot of person like to have a star. I used to at first but I prefer to enjoy mylot than to have a headache over the star and its rating. Welcome and continue to enjoy your stay here in mylot.
