American Idol: Did Anyone Ever Try Out

I'm not a huge American Idol fan, probably some of you out there are like BLASPHEMY! I'm not saying I haven't seen an episode here or there, but anyway, I was just wondering if anyone on here ever tried out, or ever knew anyone that had tried out before.

I personally dont really care for the show at this point so I've never tried out BUT my niece tried out for Canadian Idol this yr...she didnt get in but at least she tried..

That's cool, I didn't even know there was a Canadian Idol, learn something everyday

The season after Fantasia won, I tried out. It was an experience I will never forget, and I'll never do it again. I didn't make it on the show. I auditioned in Cleveland and had to sleep in the stadium. I went with 2 other people and we were like number 2546 and there were like 10,000 more people after us. Not a big fan of the show now days, but for anyone who actually makes it on the show, good for them. At least I can say I did it.
