http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message563497/pg1 It's true, and they are very offended. Of course, he apologizes after everything he and his people do to offend others. Interesting how they don't think first! They never do. Now why would he and his people have a problem with Muslims being in his pictures? Maybe he didn't think he needed their votes? Now, he realizes there are more Muslims here that can vote. OK, he doesn't like whites and Muslims. Are you making a list? Are you checking it twice? :)

As a Muslim revert myself, I am very disappointed hearing this story. It was the volunteers for the campaign that did this insensitive thing. Why should we be ashamed of our scarves? I am not. To anyone who still equates being Muslim with terrorism needs to pull their heads out of their nether regions and get educated on what Islam really teaches: truth, responsibility, kindness to everyone and animals, justice, one God with no partners. The few who have done these terrible things and calling it Islam is wrong. Islam teaches no such thing. I am tired of people equating Islam with terrorism and blaming every Muslim for the horrid things that are portrayed in the media as real Islam when it is the furthest thing from the truth there is. What is the big deal if Obama was educated in a Muslim school in Indonesia? Who cares? Only people who are closed-minded, intolerant but expect others to tolerate their nonsense and discrimination.Indonesia has one of the highest Muslim population of the world, stands to reason that the schools would reflect Muslim norms, wouldn't it?

Sometimes it is his volunteers who do the dirty deed, sometimes him, his wife or his mentors. They are responsible for using good judgement, and common sense. They don't like whites, and they are uncomfortable with Muslims. Why be uncomfortable with Muslims? Is it because most of the people who are voting for him are uncomfortable with Muslims? Sounds narrow-minded. I am not concerned with him being a Muslim. I am concerned that he is not forthcoming. He says he is a devout Christian. His philosophy does not match up with it. He does not have to be a Christian, but be honest. He should not be afraid of having Muslims in a picture. That is like saying he is ashamed of them. I don't like that. As for extremists, there are extremists in Christianity and Islam. It does not mean that some one is a terrorist because they are Muslims. My husband is a Arab/Muslim. I love him, and I am proud of him.

Inshallah, people will be open to experiences with others they don't really know.

That is the problem. He does not think. The people he has doing his bid don't think. Or maybe I am wrong. Maybe they do think. They are trying to get the vote of so many different kinds of people. First they do something to make this group secure knowing it will hurt this other group. "No big deal! We will just apologize!" They do it over and over.
