Do you share your icecream with your pet/dog?

Dogs and cats don't have the digestive enzymes to properly break down lactose which is found in milk and... ice cream. So it's really not good for them to have regular ice cream. Because the lactose doesn't get digested, it is just left to ferment in the intestine... which is pretty unhealthy for your pet and can cause diahrrea. So if you like to share your ice cream with your pet, make sure to get lactose free ice cream! I know my grocery store sells special ice creams for dogs that don't contain lactose or anything else that can be harmful to your pet!

ALways and they love it, they can't stop licking their mouth every time we will share some ice cream to them!

okay, when i first read your question, ithought, ew. but that was because i thought you were asking if you share your own cone with your dog. well, i don't do that but we usually let our dogs have their own ice cream, they love it.

My dog likes ice cream too, but I would not buy him his own. When I'm eating ice cream out on the front porch, my dog starts to beg for some, so I drop a little bit on the floor and he eats it up.
