Why can't we edit our discussions here at mylot?

Hello!
Sometimes I post a new discussion and after I post it, I see I had some mistakes. Does it happen to you too?
I think we should have an option of edit our discussions after we finish them in order to correct some small mistakes.
What do you think?

Ya you are correct about that...
Sometimes it becomes a bit annoying by seeing that we didn't correct a spelling mistake, or the sentence was not correctly formed, and such things..
I think mylot wants the user to be sure of what they are posting, thus they have disabled the edit command on discussions, rather i think they don't have developed any such command!!

I agree also, why does mylot gives us an edit option here. I noticed that they only giving preview button. I guess this pertains to the rules and regulations. We have to be responsible in our posts and if we make some mistakes we probably in trouble like deduction from our earnings. We should be aware of this things.

Yes, we cannot edit our post. Personally, I just review my posts before submitting it so that I will be able to correct my mistakes. :-)

I think we do have an edit button now I saw another thread someone saying we do have one now. But there is no reason not to have one I mean come on everyother forum ive seen has one so why shouldnt this one. Why wouldnt they want us to be able to edit our post incase if we do make a mistake like a lot of us do and dont realise till we post.

Hello. Yes I get you.
In fact I've thought about it too and I think I have the answer. I saw in some other websites that the option of edit what you wrote is for only 30 minutes after you posted your message. In this way people can't contradict each other.
Moreover, I think the members in mylot are decent enough and most of the people I know here won't do such thing.

i agree with you... sometimes, i also want to edit my discussions after i post them but i can't... so i just have to leave them like that even though there are some typing errors there... that's why i am now more careful and check everything properly before i post... take care and have a nice day...

I bet as u type in your responses you can see below this box "preview discussion" and "post discussion" so before you post you can always preview it and edit it before final posting. Once the message is posted then editing is difficult...
