Hi all, i just want to know the history of "french fries". Who invent "french fries"? And why we call it "french" fries? Anybody know? Please help me, and FYI i really like McDonalds french fries. :)

Fries originated in paris in 1840. Originally known as "pomme frites" To my knowledge the actual creators name is unknown, but the location is Paris.
