I believe so. But of course everything has it's limitation. I mean no physical battery should take place. The discipline should take the form of no rewards being given.
Waht do you think?

Yes. I believe that discipline is love. In the first place we would not discipline our kids if we dont love them. We want them to grow up as a nice and responsible person. Discipling our children is a very hard task but its very rewarding. It's one way of showing our kids that we love them, that we care about them.

No love and discipline are two different things and should not become the same thing or mixed together. I discipline my children because I want them to grow up to be well behaved polite adults, I love my children because im their mother.

I'm sorry, but I think a good old fashioned spanking isn't going to ruin a kid.
When you tell the child, 'If you leave the yard I'm going to spank you' and the kid leaves the yard, well a smack to his or her rear isn't going to kill them, where as leaving the yard and going in the road very well might.
We can't watch them every second, it's impossible. They have to have boundries and they have to know what the consequences will be if they cross those boundries. It may save their life.
I don't believe in spanking a child when we're mad. And I think the spanking should match the offense.
