You know another phrase for green thumb is time to tend to plants and knowledge of how they grow. I've been doing pretty well with my plants this year, but it really requires time to properly care for your plants and alittle bit of knowledge. it goes a long way. I've had plants die to when I didnt know how to take care of them.

I don't have a green thumb, I wish i had, but i don't...The plants i plant seem to grow so well at the start, but then die after blooming...or when the winter comes i can't take care of them well enough. I guess i don't have the experience, and maybe in a few years i will be succesfull with growing my plants and keeping them healthy.

I'm not sure I have a green thumb. I'm doing alright with most plants but have some die on me, too, lol. Funny though. I had a plant that didn't do so well for a while. Mostly I had been busy and not watering it as much as I should. In our old apartment it also did not get the right light. It only had a little of green left. Bad I know. My MIL told me to toss it and I said no, it's still fine, it'll grow again. Keep in mind my MIL never had many plants to begin with and tosses many. Anyhow, fastforward six years. The plant has grown under tender care and a good spot in our new place. One day my MIL visits, which is rare, lol. She admires the plant, saying how nice it is and asking where I bought it (she buys new ones every year as she throws out so many!). I told her that we had it for like eight years and I really don't remember anymore where I got it. She was confused and said that she had never seen it before. And I was like, well,... that's the plant you wanted me to throw out for so many years when we still lived in our apartment... She wouldn't believe me until my husband confirmed the story, lol. Long story short, anybody can take care of plants. Maybe you should just start out with one and take it from there. Find one that gets the proper light in your place. Ask for proper care instructions. Most places that sell plants have somebody who knows about that. Get that miracle grow stuff, if needed. I'm not good with fertilizing and repotting, not even watering. There are plants that need minimal care. I think anybody can have plants and keep them alive. You just have to get the ones that fit your lifestyle;)

Hey i am sure that there is nothing like that. If you plant the plants properly without the root getting cut and water it carefully for a week or so then it will surely grow. The plant does not know who planted it LOL.
