I have some old emails in my email address that some of the discussions are so long I can't read them. Some of the discussions I see are like a whole page long so I don't read those or respond to them. Do you find that some of the discussions are way too long to read all of it. I also have noticed that those really long ones don't have very many responses to them so I am assuming that I am not the only one here that doesn't like them. When it takes 15 minutes to read it, it is too long.
So do read the ones that are a whole page long? Or do you just delete it, which I am sorry to say, I do? If it takes you 15 minutes to read it, do you bother? I know I probably should, out of respect for the poster, but I just can't do it. What is your take on this? Am I a bad friend?

If it's too long then no I dont usually read it. If it's interesting or it's something that I can relate to then yes I do take the time to read it and put my 2 cents ins. I can assume that is what alot of people do. I mean if I see something and it has maybe 40 or more sentences then chances are I probably wont have time to read it. I have 3 children and during the day it's hard to read really long ones.

The reason I started this discussion is because I found one in my email that was huge. I mean huge, it would have taken me a half hour to read it. By the time I would have finished reading it I would never have remembered all the questions she asked, so I could answer them. I would have had to go back and read the questions one at a time, to respond to them all, and then it would have probably taken me half an hour to post my response. So I just read the first part of it, and then gave up, and deleted it.

It really depends on the title of the discussion. If it sounds interesting, I don't mind reading even if it's long. If it's not a topic of my interests, then I'll definitely not read it. You are not a bad friend. Don't worry. You are just being honest here.
