Can't wait to switch doctors

Progressively, my doctor's office has been getting less and less professional. I understand doctor's offices almost always run behind schedule. However, when my doctor is *always* late, and I mean late by an hour or more *every time*, something is wrong. Ever since they moved into a new fancy building, it's been more cold, corporate, and after waiting a ridiculous amount of time, you're rushed through.
Not only that, but the other day I was trying to get questions answered about what I think may be gallstones, or duodenal ulcer. The physician's assistant (that's right, I don't get to see my actual doctor anymore) insisted that gallstones are never caused by cholesterol and usually caused by fat. Um, no!!! After I disagreed with her statement, she abruptly said I have dyspepsia (despite my saying that I have *no* acid reflux) and wrote a prescription for it. She did order blood tests, and dammit, I'm waiting for those results to even fill the prescription, because I don't want to take something for something I know I don't have. She ordered an abdominal ultrasound. After the ultrasound, I'm changing primaries.
How irresponsible is it to diagnose someone with something when their symptoms don't even match? And before blood tests are even done?! I am so angry.

beeeckie after what you have told us I would definitely
change doctors as this one does not seem particularly
competent and you do need to have faith in a doctor
'patient relationship.I hate it when I am foisted off'on
a physicans assistant instead of the doctor i cam to see. In
my own doctors office I see only doctors not assistants thank
goodness for that.

Thanks for your response. It turns out she was right about dyspepsia, and I found that out from an ER doc who was willing to take the time to answer all my questions. I pretty much lost faith when she claimed the stuff about gallstones, and it goes on and on. I picked my primary because she did pelvic exams and this PA won't do them, etc etc. I'm in the process of finding a more appropriate, smaller office where the chances of seeing the actual doctor is 100% :)
