Are today's Teens really worse?

There are those who, in their self-confident uninformed optimism,assure us that today's adolescents are no different and certainly no worse than those of past generations.But the facts prove otherwise.
Human nature is the same.But we simply live in a different world today.The emergence of the phonograph,the automobile,the motion picture,radio and television and other productions of the machine age have brought new influences and changing customs.Human nature adapting to changing times,expresses itself very differently today.
Some would hush up the naked facts.But the welfare of our youth is at stake.The adolescents,frighting with the immorality tide,are speeding past their elders in the downward plunge.There is a trend.It is an immoral trend.It is speeding up at accelerated pace.It is only natural for young people to follow the trend.They want to belong.It's time to face the facts squarely.
People are like sheep.They all follow the leader to the slaughter.But they don't know they are being led to the slaughter.They are just a little stupid.Yes,quite a little,but they still want to belong.It's natural to just go with the group.

I think every generation thinks that their teens are in really bad shape, worse than they themselves were. However, are teens are getting into a ton of trouble and I can't help but think that, maybe we as people haven't gotten worse, but the times we live in have created too many issues for teens to deal with. There are tons of things that may have always been issues but seem to be getting really bad. I'm not even sure how one would stop this trend.

I don't think so.. Even before, that is what people keep on saying. Every generation that passes by, there's always that comment.. "todays teens are the worse".
Lets just say that each generation has their own style and that other people sees it as worse. Every people have their own perception.
Maybe they're not used into the trend today that's why they think teens today are worse.

I think that that same argument you stated has been stated
about every ten years or so, and each generation always'
thinks their teens are going to hell in a handbasket.
'It is not really true, our teens are actually no worse
than they were when you were a teen. there are always
bad apples in every bushel but do not throw aways the
rest because of one bad teen.

I hate to confirm it but it's true! Today's teens although there are exceptions are getting worse. This phenomenon is prophesied in the Bible and this is really bound to happen even to our very own kids sooner or later unless we do something to train them up in the right way they should go. However if parents neglect their duty then how can we expect children to be better. Also the bad surroundings and other bad influences all around contribute to the kind of teens we have today!
