What is something about travelling that you enjoy most?

I love to go to different places and the very thing I love about this is the act of traveling itself. Just sitting down and enjoying the places you are passing through while waiting to reach the final destination is one thing I really enjoy and how much more the stop-overs where you have to take some snacks and have a taste of the delicacies in different places,and buying some stuff for remembrance. I find it so enjoyable! How about you? What do you enjoy most about traveling? Kindly share?

Hie Salonga, I love the idea and foremost the word 'travel' itself. Anywhere to get away from my usual routine activity or the places I used to, that will be wonderful indeed.
It's the adventure that awaits that excites me and the company of friends who also share the same fun as well.
So many things that I could learn and I for one love to explore especially the local traditions, cuisines and skills of learning new things. It is like a therapy for me to treat my mind, body and soul with nature and the beautiful people.
And I wish I could do it more often too.
It is such a treat to be able to enjoy and experience it yourself than hearing people telling their stories of their adventures.
Shopping, tasting food ,eating is always a must and never missed
and the guys that travel along with us will always be amazed at we ladies & join in the fun too - helping to carry with extra bags.

i enjoy discovering the history..i really loved going to historical places 'coz it is different when you are learning history in the book..it is much exciting and much learning when you are actually there and seeing where our history had happened. I love reading all the stuffs about history and it is really much better being there.

History is really an interesting and exciting topic to me as well. So I understand why you went to Corrigidor because the place is very historical. Have you tried going to Vigan? It's a very very very historical and remarkable place too..
When I went there, it's as if I experienced the Spanish era. Wonderful experience indeed!

I love historical places; and so always try to include them in any of my trips. I enjoy studying the culture and traditions of people in other countries, and always want to try their food, and of course, shop for souveneirs.
