Bierhoff is right. German will be strong when he meets strong team. I know Portugal tried his best, but German team has strong willpowder. Maybe they will go further.

I hate the German national side, they always over-achieve and play poor football but still win. I wouldn't be surprised if once again they go all the way, winning is a habit and these clowns seem to have it. In particular I dislike Ballack who has a smug face and irritates the hell out of me! I'm supporting Russia now!

i don't think Germany has any super star at all.
but they win at last ,beyond my expectations.
but russia is obviously not a team who can win the title.

well...i am myself amazed seeing the performances they are giving ..but yesterday's match was a bit lucky for them as portugal missed some 2-3 chances to score...and if they have been scored then it might have been a completely different game....

I can't agree with you more, the results can't say Portugal is not a good team.
but Germany is always such a team , when you have losen confidences on it, it will give you a surprise.
the more hard , the better performance they'll give

Germany has quite a few strong players. Combined, they are one of the most technical teams in the tournament. The fact that almost half the team play for Bayern, German champs, they play together for most of the year. That allows them to know one another and work near flawlessly. They will continue to be strong and should win Euro 2008. Ballack, Poldi, Klose and Schweini are among the world's best.

I'm also surprised at how strong Germany is. If Russia get eliminated I'm cheering for Germany. They're a pretty good team. They look a bit like machines, but they're awesome anyway.
