Until the calender changed in 1582, 1 April was New Year's Day.A few twits didn't remember and still celebrated New Year in April. People played tricks on them and called them April fools. On April Fools' Day London Zoo often receives prank phone calls asking for Miss Sue Keeper, Mr Ali Gatiter and Mr Jim Panziel. Spain has its own version of April Fools' Day on 28 December. Bakers make salty cakes and jokers glue coins to the pavement. In France, children slap pictures of fish on their friends' backs. When they're found, the prankster shouts "Poisson d'Avril!" Which means "April fish!". Tell me about April Fools tricks you have either played on people or have had played on yourself. Can't wait to read later your stories
