What do you think about ricky ponting?

he is arrogrant but talented i defer he isnt the best captain..steve waugh was..

I am a West Indian and I don't love the Australians but you have to admire there game they are well organized they are the best in the world right now and love Ricky Ponting or hate him he one hell of a captain and a very consistent batsman I would love to see the back of Ponting for selfish reasons but there can be no valid reason for him to be force into retire not at this point in his career.

Well a good captain,but dose not contains spirit of sportman ship.We saw this in sydney test.So ricky may be good captain,But when it comes about other things he fails.

I think Ricky Ponting is the best captain of all times. He took Australia to a heights that no other Aussie captain dreamed off. Regarding his retirement I don't think its time to hang the boots. Ricky Ponting is in superb form and as long as he keeps winning the matches for Australia he shouldn't consider retirement.

I think he is still young to lead the team towards the win power. no he should not retire from the AUST team ,he is not better then michael clarke.

captian from aussis team.one year back ricky good performance of bat and captiancy but today poor performance of both.young players approach.

in my opinion, ricky is a fine cricketer. i still remember the ominous knock he played against india in the 2003 world cup final. he looked to me in supreme touch at that time. i personally think ,going by his present form he should bid adieu to one day cricket. but he should continue in tests for it is impossible to replace him as the test leader for the aussies. clarke may be good but definitely not good enough to be his replacement. and sometimes, he should chill out by playing 20-20 matches. of course, one think we should learn from him is that hair on the head does not remain forever.hahaha. happy my lotting.
