Hello triptadasgupta,
I think there will be rarely any Indian who will not like Indian instrumental music. Whether sitar, or guitar, or flute, or tabla, or even cham cham pyal or majira that is heard in almost all temples.....every instrument has its own beauty and melody that gives peace to our mind and heart. Sitar indeed sounds very nice when one plays it getting full engrossed into its soul. But some how, I was always attracted to the sweet sound of flute.....(bansuri)....it reminds me of my childhood.....I wish I had learnt to play it .......I feel like I did nothing in my life.....could not even learn a simple flute playing.........

I love listening to instrumental music. Sitar generates some unique and soothing sounds, which give us calmness. I love Hindi film songs, which are rendered by various artists through intrumental music. Brian Sallas is one, who renders beautiful Hindi film songs on Piano. I have also listened instrumental songs on flute, which sound awesome and great.
