My husband got an email last night, now I have always thought that my cat could run the company that he woulds for better, but last night I found out pocket lint could do a better job. This is a copy and paste of the original I would give proper credit but I don't want to embarrass them and let the rest of the world know how ignorant they are. PM me if your really need to know LOL! So here is the email that was sent out to the entire company with the subject stating "Voluntary Dental Program: Following is the schedule for the mandatory enrollment meeting for Voluntary Dental Insurance Program offered through Guardian Insurance. For any employee working more than 30 hours per week it is required to attend one of the meetings, whether you are interested in the program or not. Location Date Time Main Monday, June 23 8:30 a.m. (sales meeting) South Bend Friday, June 27 7:00 a.m. (via conference call) Ft. Wayne Monday, June 30 7:00 a.m. (via conference call) Blissfield Monday, June 30 12:00 p.m. Main Wednesday, July 2 7:00 a.m. Main Wednesday, July 2 4:00 p.m. Melvindale Thursday, July 3 7:00 a.m. Did you happen to notice it is a mandatory meeting for a voluntary program? LOL Did you also notice that the July 3 meeting is being held nowhere? You may be able to tell that they are not a proofreading company LMAO! Is your company a little on the ignorant side? How you enjoyed your laugh.

Maybe there were phone numbers, but you removed them. I was just wondering if they gave you the number for the conference call. Mandatory, Voluntary isn't that like an oxymoron? You're poor husband must hate his job, or maybe it's also a sense of comic relief. Either way, at least you know how to get a chuckle out of it, (and you can earn money because his employers give you something to post about) Good stuff.... lol... thanks.... Apparently the 80% rule is right....although I'm convinced it's up to 95% of people are just complete idiots.

Well in order for it to make sense, you had to say the name. And if it's the truth, so be it. Now that's funny. They tell you it will be in the form of a conference call, and yet you receive no direction as to how to get into the call..... just guess....not like there are millions of combinations... It sounds like Office Space, 3 bosses he reports to, who probably get paid for his work.... man oh man...lol

LOL I have been thinking about the lack of phone number and if I knew I wouldn't get him in trouble I would resend the email out and put the number as 800 426 6766 which would spell I a moron! LOL

LOL I didn't even catch the conference call, great eye sight! I didn't remove anything except the 500 people's email addresses. This is pretty common for this company and I don't know if he hates his job but he really hates the company! He is the only person I know that has 3 direct bosses that he is suppose to report to. LOL I think the 95% is his company! LOL As you can see I forgot to block out the insurance company so I didn't do anything, they are just that stupid! Thanks for responding and also for pointing out the call.

That's funny. People are too busy trying to look powerful to care that they come off as ignorant. Then if someone were to go to the boss and point that out, he'd probably get all up in their face about sending guessing him, or someting stupid like that. LOL

Hey Zeph, Ya they do some dumb things! The reason everyone has to attend is to cover thier a##,they make you sign in as proof you were there and refused. That way the employee can't come back latter and say they were never informed of the benefit! I know it's dumb, but tht is the reason. As to the July 3rd thing,??????? tdemex

Yes good for a laugh! Unfortunatly its typical of corperate anywhere. One of the problems when a company gets to big. One thing is if I worked for the company Id go to the July 3 meeting and make sure I had a witness. :)
