Looking at the sky in the night

I really love looking at the night sky. One day I'm going to buy a telescope. One of my daughters and I used to like lying out on the back lawn on summer nights watching for shooting stars. She now has a telescope of her own - lucky thing!

I do love looking at the sky at night. I do this often especially on a clear night sky. I love looking at the stars and the moon. I also do catch some shooting stars from time to time. It's sad that it's raining tonight so I won't be able to do some star gazing...

yes i am nature lover and i feel that looking at the sky in the night is a very nice view. it is like making a drawing on a big black canvas and i enjoy it a lot. other than that it is a very good exercise for your eyes. but now a days starts visible in night sky is something which is very rare

I really miss seeing the night sky. Our house is under a bunch of old oak trees and it's impossible to sit on the porch and see the stars. Where I use to live you could sit out on the steps and see everything. Even the Milky Way. I am always fascinated with shooting stars.

When I was still a child I spent a lot of time gazing at the night sky and dreaming. Now, we are usually watching TV or engaged in some other activity at night. Occasionally when the moon is especially large and colorful, my husband will call it to my attention. Perhaps one of the reasons for paying less attention to the majestic night time sky is that it just doesn't seem as bright when observed from the middle of a city as it did from somewhere in the country where there were no distracting city lights.

I love a clear sky at night. The stars just make the world feel immense! It's a shame that nowadays there is so much commercial and industrial areas in towns that most towns have light pollution. That's where you can't really see the stars at night because of all the lights from surrounding buildings, lots, etc. Where we live now it's more of a rural suburban town. So there are less lights, more parks and the industrial areas are kept on the outside of town. This allows us to see a beautiful night sky from our backyard! I've taken my telescope out and had the kids check out the moon. ?

I love looking at the night sky. Where I live you can get a good few of some stars. When I lived up north it was like that stars are jumping out at you!! I love looking up at the moon. My computer is by my window, so when the moon is out I can just look up at it. I just love looking up at the sky day or night. It gives me a sense of peace. (:

Sometimes. I like it when the sky is really clear. On a clear night the stars are perfectly defined. Occasionally I sit outside with a drink and think about everything, the world mostly. I like wondering if someone else like me thinking about the same things.
