After dealing with gall stones and gall bladder attacks for 2 and a half years, I am finally going in for surgery on the first of July. I have my pretesting appointment this coming tuesday. I'm a bit nervous as I've never had a surgery before of any kind. The only thing I've been in the hospital for was to deliver my children. But I am also happy. Finally I can live without fear of pain just from eating something. I have let this go on far too long and I am glad I am finally doing something about it. Have you had gall bladder or other laproscopic surgery, or are you going to soon?

Hey, I just saw this discussion after replying to your more recent one. I had my gall bladder out 8 years ago. Mine started acting up when I was pregnant with my son. Gall bladder attacks are not fun at all. Especially when you are preggers.

Yes, that's when mine started, when I was pregnant for my now 2 year old. That was 2 and a half years I was living with the gall bladder attacks, although I must say mine weren't awful. I could go a couple months with no pain at all, eating whatever I wanted, then bam, I eat a cookie and I'm all out of whack for weeks.
