I have grown so tired of the "is that it's" and all of that, why is it that people who work in CUTOMER SERVICE, a field in which the title should explain it all, bother to even go to work, or get the job if they arent interested in serving people? So rude, narcissistic and ignorant that they do not have common decency to treat people with respect? Sorry, I was ranting but it is a HUGE pet peeve

I agree 100%, a lot of people are unhappy in this field and I just don't get it. How can they stay at the job if they are soooo unhappy and more importantly how do they keep the job acting like that????

yes, I mean they could always do something that did not include dealing with customers, and as for how they keep their job, I guess not enough people complain there was this girl who worked at McDonalds, we went about once a month and everytime, it was "is that it," she even went as far as when my bf ordered his food in a special way, she actually said, "EW! really?" I had enough, and I finally called the manger, and apparently my call was they straw that broke the camels back, the manager said she had already had some complaints about this girl, and she was fired, and I didnt feel a bit sorry about it. A company has an obligation to provide great service, and they should stand by it.

Yes! This is the question that I want answers to. I deal with many people that work in this field. When I take my child to the doctor, they look at me like I am crazy. I know that I am not late at all. But they treat me like I am an alien or something.. So, I am wondering the same thing, why do the act like this, so nasty. And how come they still have their jobs? I know a Kindergarten teacher like this. She is rude when she wants to be to the students and others. She said that she has been teaching for over 20 years.. But this long, and no one has tried to get rid of her mean behind? This bugs the hell out of me.. I think that with all jobs they should hire based on an attitude check.. This will move many people out of the way that are rude!

I completely understand your pet peeve for it's a one of mine as well. Makes all of us wonder why they applied for the job to begin with. I know jobs are scarce and few inbetween but still, when one has a job they should be grateful for it and be kind to others for they just might find themselves on that side of the counter some day.

I agree, yesterday, we went to boston market, and the lady in the drive thru dropped my kids milk in the milk carton on the ground in between the car and the drive thru window. and was like, oh you might want to get your milk. Irritating! This is why we rarely go to places anymore.
