i ever heard of a software which be installed in the laptop,when ur laptop was stolen by bad buy,u can chase its track if the laptop connect the internet.anyone know about this software???

I have research and there is a company call "ztrace" which installs some type of software or code into the laptop that cannot be uninstall or detected. They say that in case of the laptop been stolen you contact them and they will activate the software and it will give them the location of the laptop wile connected to the internet. This comes as a subscription per year which cost about $50 a year. Is not free but if you have an expensive laptop is totally worth it.

I have not heard of any software on that, I have heard that they put a microchip in the computer.
software can be erased. ie someone takes the laptop to a public hotspot erases / uninstalls the software. then it can not be traced. with a microchip it is built in and can not be removed or uninstalled. much safer.
