Plus 50 to what I already have to deal with? I don't know what I am going to do. I wish to work as long as possible, so retirement is not on my schedule soon. I can not wait for time machine and space traveling.... HUGS

reading your discussion brings back memories. if you know Tom Hanks' movie BIG he was a teen a grew to an adult overnight. when i was a teen i saw this film and wordered too what would i do if i suddenly woke up and became old over night. it is wierd but i know this wont happen. actually it is scarry if this would happen.

One thing is certain that we as ordinary human beings should accept the realities that every one of us are subject to ageing. One can do work after at +50 but the intensity varies. I know of a person who meets meet every day, he is 75 and going strong with sound mind and body. I am 58 and I feel that I am doing the work in the same way as I was doing at 40 or 45 + with greater maturity and wegihtage on talks. No doubt people's organ fail or wear one by one and tear will be there after 45 and repairs are only temporary and for the time being. I donot dream of any time machines or going back into childhood days. I have a father-in-law who is 84 and says that he is waiting for visa (you know what I mean). Another advocate whom Iknow is 94 o4 95, still has terrific memorary power and dictates important legal points.

hi saiven! i'll wake up and found out that already 50 years had passed and i'm already 70++ years old?? OMG. i would definitely freak out! i would go crazy and i would desperately try to find what happened. i don't even want to reach that old age. i might find myself in a Home for the Aged or some homes for old people. surely i won't have access to computers anymore. i might still be watching tv but i would probably be watching just about anything or just lame tv programs like unpopular talk shows. but if i still have the mind that i have right now, i would find out how to go back in time and be young again! i just couldn't sit down and accept what's happening. i wouldn't believe myself if i thought of Alzheimer's or amnesia. 50 years is a very long time. ^__^;;

You seem to think at the age of 50 your life is finished? You will still be working,and why wouldnt you be on mylot? Life does not stop when you grow older, I would not like to go back to the past maybe go to the future for a look to see how things will change?

...Good post my friend. It seems you have issues of getting old right now. Well, aging is one of the things that is out of control. We cannot predict how long will we live here on earth so we just have to enjoy every second of it. Live as if it's your last day already and do all the things that you want. Show the people you love that you really care about them...if you are familiar with Ronan Keating's song 'If Tomorrow Never Comes', that's what is all about. Live life to the fullest now, so we won't have regrets doing the things we haven't done while we were living. It's also nice to get old I think, retire from job, and just enjoy the remaining days of your life. Cheers! Have a great day!

I think i should think about this after 30 + years.. Even my dad is not 50 yet so why should i worry about grwing old now a days people are more than 50s and saying that they are very young... i mean the actress and actors i fell down and laugh atleast they could comment like im still young in my views ,opinion something like that , they never agree that they are old!!! Being old is not a scary thing i guess.. if i grow old i will have my childeren and i can see myself in my childeren ! or if im growing old within a day then ill be happy i need not go in search of any job or work hard i will be sitting at homw enojying but commanding people at home lol.. See sai in 50s you wont lose anything you can still be strong even in your 50s !!!!

As long as I would still have all my hair and original parts (teeth, hips, knees, etc.), I suppose I'd be just peachy. Would being 50 years older overnight mean that I would have accumulated all those working years' worth of wealth? Or would I still be at the same job, doing the same thing, but perhaps flirting a little less?
