With ll the "safe " Tamper proof "packageiing around everywhere now have yo ever found it's so safe you just cann"t open something ?A while back I was trying to open a screw too bottle, with a metal screw top,I could not unscrew it, tryed under hot water, with a tea towel, pliers and finaly multi grips.Nothing would open it, it was so secure. In desperation in the finnish I had ti put a hole thru the top with an old bottle open. The screw top never did come off. Have you ever found something way too secure ?

i agree. that can be the most aggravating thing to try to open some of the things i buy. i have a hole punched in a couple of things now that i couldn't get to open right. glad to know it's not just me.lol

yes I sure know about holes, alot of fruit juice with silver paper once you get the lid of is just about imposible to get hold of to pull of.Often the only way to get hold of it, you have to put a hole in it.

I am finding some things almost impossible to open also. Some of the plastic they use to wrap and seal things are very very hard also and I usually have to get the scissors to open them. When that happens I think of some of these elderly people who are alone and can't get things opened or people with arthritis. It looks like companies would have people who have a hard time opening things try out their ideas before they sell them.

For all the tamper proof and childproof packaging folks who think they do a good job I have a two year old who says nothing is safe in his hands. If he can get it in his hands he can and will open it. I have watched him do it time and time again so the best thing I can do for my kids and my sanity is to be the proofer in my house cause the people who do the packaging apparently never met my kids.
