so - i'm turning 40 in august. i was so excited when my mom and sister and her four kids decided that they would drive out here from missouri to spend the week with me. i told all my friends and neighbors, i've mentioned it to my chattier customers if the subject arises...thrilled, thrilled, thrilled that my boyfriend of two years plus would get to meet the rest of the important people in my life!! well - my sister is having major problems with her back - and though she tried to deny it to our mom, driving or even riding from missouri to colorado would be PURE TORTURE. and flying or train?? forget it - 6 tickets - wow! so they will send tickets for my son and i to go out there... my two biggest dilemmas...i can't seem to find out what it will cost to bring my dog with me - he's a boston terrier schnauzer, not very big - i would miss him terribly if i couldn't bring him along! also - i have a fairly new internet business - pretty smooth, not too many people calling for tech support - but i have no employees - so nobody who can come and run the office - i, of course can field calls remotely, and my boyfriend, who is my sub-contracted IT guy, can take payments, deposits, etc - but will his own customers suffer if he has to stick around the office for 5 hours per day? any advice?? please help me out if you can...

I'm not sure about this. Is it possible for you to drive. That's what i would do. I would not want to take bow wow on any publc transport. You could psot a notice on your website that you will be gone for a week on persnal business and leave an emergency number.

thanx for trying - no - i can drive, but have no car. post on my website that i'm on vacation... hhhmmm - running an internet business, and having someone have trouble logging in...you see the problem, right? - the phone is not an issue, as i transfer calls even now when i'm out of the office. actually, i'm looking for anyone who has recently flown with a 25 pound dog - and what it is likely to cost me...
