What are the perks? What don't you like? I know there are only a couple nationwide carriers, I expect to see things like Cingular/AT&T, Verizon, TMobile, and Sprint. Do you use one of these or is yours more obscure? Are there different carriers in other countries?I use TMobile and I switched to it from Virgin Mobile, which is a prepaid service. I really liked prepaid when I was never on the phone. I consider myself a phone junkie now, I text often and tend to get on the phone and call people when I'm waiting around. It also allows me to be reachable because I'm not really home that often. The nicest thing about my phone now is the bluetooth, which I thought I'd hate. I forget I'm even wearing it until the phone rings lol. I can continue doing whatever I'm doing and talk. I love having unlimited services for a decent cost. I don't have any rollover, which is a bit lousy, but I have been using most of my plan allowance minutes lately anyway so I wouldn't have any left to roll over. I do sometimes wish for a plan that allowed more than 5 'free' numbers because I have a few more than 5 that I could talk to regularly. I'm kind of brand loyal though, I doubt I'll switch carriers again, this one is a good fit in a variety of ways.

We have different choices in our home. The kids have a more or less basic monthly plan with the regular free calls after 6pm we just added unlimited texting and free incoming calls just because it's what works better ( kids - and adults - do text a lot, and we want them to have free incoming calls so they have no excuse to not pick up when we call at anytime). Me and hubby have prepaid because we don't use them much. Only when it makes sense, for all the other calls that are not urgent or important we wait to call from home. My daughter, hubby and I have Fido which is connected with Rogers/AT&T. My son has the - more or less - new Koodo because there are not specific number of years plan ( 1/2/3 year plans) one can cancel at any time without penalty.

I have blackberry pearl 8120 from T-Mobile... I know this cell. phone is available through AT&T as well... I have their unlimited plan... Voice calls & messaging are unlimited... Also I added blackberry plan so it gives me unlimited internet access & e-mail access as well... Basically, I have unlimited everything... Normally the bill would be around $140 - $150 with tax & fees & everything but I work at a place where I get a discount on my bill so it's not that bad... It comes out to $116 a month... I know discount is not much but every bit helps...
