This lady gave birth do her twin granddaughters. Wow, amazing, what an awesome way to show love. I have to give it to her, first due to her age, and second due to the fact she was able to help her daughter and third she gave birth do twins. Wonderfully Blessed. According to the what I heard she was a vegetarian and even started eating meats and followed the doctors with everything necessary, and I thought women after 30 was not able, this just shows me this is the second one recently after 35 that has been blessed. Way to go how do you feel about this exciting moment. thanks

Wow, that is a really special story! I think that is so wonderful that she was able to do something like that for her child by using her own body to help bring her own grandchild into the world. I have never really heard a story quite like that, but that is really neat. My mom is not too much older than that woman, and I can't imagine her having a baby right now, let alone twins! That's very exciting.

I know, I think besides dying for one or giving a part this is one of the ultimate showing of love. amazing. No, I am close to that age and I am pretty sure, I would not be able to do this, I don't think my body would handle it, however the newscast said, she was very fit and healthy so all things are possible. ty

Wow this is a really cool thing. There must have been many risks involving that birth but it's something tremendous that she did that for her daughter and for her granddaughters. I find this really cool.

Lots of women seem to be leaving it later to have children these days ... I have a few friends who have become new mothers in their 40s. Personally, I don't think I'd cope with young children now - but in this lady's case, if the children are grandchildren she can hand them over to her daughter!

yes, that is why she did it, I guess according to what I heard, The daughter tried and tried and could not carry, so mom came in and helped a hand, or should I say a stomach. lol Me either, I love my grandchildren but to have a new born at my age I don't think that I could do. ty

Hie Lynn, that's some miracle and blessing for sure and kudos to her at that age This will certainly give some hope to those who are married in their late 40's and I guess it is true at that age women can be still attractive and sexy. And the ticking of the biological clock is not so dependable anymore! Cheers and thank you for sharing.

So true, I feel that the each of us, our bodies are different, where one can do one thing another may not be able to. But, in the long run, I feel we all can if we want or need to, depending on the situation. ty

WOW!! TWINS!! Well, actually I shouldn't be too surprised. My grandmother had 8 kids and her last one she called her "menopause baby" She thought she was going through menopause and it turns out that she had a beautiful baby girl at 50!!

I do not know why you think you can not have kids after 30. I do not think we are as fertile but it is possible. Lots of people wait now days until they are in their 30's to have kids.I had my daughter in my 30's it just took longer to get pregnant than in my 20's. I do think 50 is pushing it with menopause. It is wonderful a mother would do this for there child!

I guess, I think that most people have children young, I know my sister was blessed in her very early 30's after 11 years of trying. But, 50 I have heard of, but to be blessed by twins I feel is awesome. and to do this for the love of a daughter is even more amazing to me. For, we show our love in so many ways, and this one way is just another way of the amazing love people have for their children, I actually can say I am overwhelmed by the love she shown.

I so agree, especially with her being a vegetarian, and was asked to eat meat, for the babies and she followed all the guidelines she was asked by the doctors. I think the same, the love of the mother was much shown here. ty
