I have to go to the university, tomorrow is the first day in summer season, I used to stay late at night every day, and now I can't sleep early, Did you experience this feeling? Do you have to wake up early these days? What do you do to make yourself sleepy?

i go through this once in a while. guess it takes time to adjust our biological clock. there are occasions when i'm required to go in for work earlier. i get anxious when i couldn't fall asleep earlier. the more anxious i get, the less sleepy i am. thankfully it's only for a day. i make it up by sleeping earlier the following day. i've tried means and ways but it doesn't help. the only thing i think can help is to let your biological clock adjust slowly. that means a few days of tiredness and struggling to wake in the morning. cheers and good luck in university. :D

I have had this problem and the solution is to do tasks throughout the day that will tire you till the night. By this way you won't be able to wake up late night. This track worked for me. Reading a book hour before sleep also helps you to make sleepy.

I go to bed late, about 1.30 am or 2am after a couple of hours on the web, or watching a good film. Set the Alarm clock for 5.45 am. Struggle to sleep but do eventually drift off. Alarm clock wakes me up, with assistance from a nudge from my wife, and then I am UP. Quick Wash and coffee to get me into gear, and I am ready for the Day. Leave for Work at 6.30 am and Start Work at 7 am. Its strange, but I only ever have a few hours sleep every night, and have always been like this even at a young age, which had its advantages, in my younger days, I could go out clubbing most of the night and still be good for work the next day. Now instead of clubbing I just past the time surfing away. No One can understand me, but its just the way I am.

Yeah for sure. I take pills for my jaw pain but it is also for sleep. It helps me sleep better for some reason. But nowadays I am usually just tired anyways. To get to sleep easier on nights that you find it difficult to do so, you can try reading or watching TV for a bit.

Yes, I get up at 5.30am to go to work on an early shift, but I sometimes dont get up till 10am for a late shift. Its taken me a while to get used to the variation but now I just sleep when I'm tired. I find that watching something I really want to see the end of on TV usually sends me to sleep or, failing that, I set myself some complicated puzzle to work out in my head - like how many seconds till the alarm goes off. Or tr ying to think of something starting with each letter of the alphabet in some obscure category. Hope you wake up refreshed and have a good day tomorrow.
