How to save the U.S. a lot of money!!!

Everyone so worried about the price of gas,but no one is doing anything about it.We;;, I've figured out a way to save Americans billions of dollars in gas money.Take away the drivers licenses of all the idiots out there that don't know how to drive!!!
It's simple,really.More than half of the people in this country don't have a clue how to drive.If you swerve over 3 lanes on the freeway because you almost passed your exit,you lose your license.If you drive 25 in a 45 MPH speed zone,gone.If you talk on a cell phone,eat,put on your makeup or read while you're driving,the license is gone.
Then,people would have to carpool,take a bus,walk or ride a bike to get where they want to go.
Let's face it,they'll let anyone have a license.I think the only way to fail you driving test is if you kill the instructor.
If you agree with this,great.If you don't,you're probably one of the people that doesn't know how to drive.

Well, not in my state.. They are so strict in what they want you to be doing.. Getting my license is very hard on my end.. If they do this, they should only do it to people, who really don't need their license. I need mines badly, and I will make mistakes.. But I don't want mines taken away from me, that easily..

Most people would say they need a license.That doesn't mean they should have one.A drivers license is supposed to be a privilege,not a right.

I think thy should take the licenses off the people who keep driving and drinking, three strikes and your out I think and I would be starting with the celebrities who keep offending and are influencing the yound who think it is cool...

Well nice idea, but taking away American's right to drive will not solve the high gas problems of this country. Revoking driving licenses will just force adults to break the law by driving without a license. Especially with the economy being in such bad shape right now, people cannot afford not to work. An in order to get to work many people have to drive and cannot work around the carpooling schedules of others. We want to do what we want when we want. It's not convenient to wait around for a bus or carpool when we have a car. If your worried about gas prices, buy a hyrid or use public transportation yourself. High gas pries has nothing to do with the number of licensed people in the country. I do agree that there are many out there with licenses who shouldn't have them, but I don't think taking away licenses will solve the gas problem.
