Women seek operations to pretend to be virgins

A French judge annulled a Muslim marriage over bride's virginity lie this year. I would not expect this in Paris even though I know that in predominantly Muslim countries the woman is expected to be a virgin before she marries. Doctors are now performing surgery so the groom and his family will not know she is a virgin.
The cost is about $2,900. If the surgery is done properly it will produce tell-tale virginal bleeding.

I heard about this a while back. It's hard to relate because in the US someone being a virgin when they marry is so rare. I suppose that any lie in a marriage is a breach of the agreement. If the woman is not a virgin she should tell the man she is going to marry up front if it is such a big deal in their society. If he doesn't want to marry her then it would save the drama. If she can't find any man in her country that will marry her that way perhaps she should consider moving or looking on the internet. The internet allows people from all over the world to come together. myLot is definitely proof of that!
