Could there be anything that would be less of a tourist attraction?
A Russian spa town has unveiled a monument to enema treatments in the guise of an 800-pound bronze syringe bulb held up by three angels.
"There is no kitsch or obscenity," said the spa's director, Alexander Kharchenko. "An enema is almost a symbol in our region." ---New York Post
I have read how people in Russia are standing in long lines for cheese and are starving. I was not expecting Russia to have this kind of tourist attraction.

There are disgusting things in America too. Should people skip America just because of one thing that may be utterly disgusting?

It is supposed to be a beautiful country, but if they are really into that sort of thing to that extent, I don't think I would be comfortable.

I would love to visit Russia someday, but not to see that. It is funny though. My daughter had a teacher once who went on a vacation to Russia, and he said that there seemed to be a toilet paper shortage or something. He said that you had to ask for it, and then you would only get a little piece to use. If I ever go, I will be sure and bring my own toilet paper.

Some people do not use toilet paper. Some use newspapers, bidets, or watering cans. Make sure you take plenty with you.

Now I've heard everything! I need to send this to my husband who knows a lot more about Russia than I do.
