How to deal grown up kids?

One time, my husband hug and kiss my 11 year old son but he refuse because he said that he is not a baby anymore! Oh! i think he is thinking that he is now a big man and ashame to be kissed like a baby hahaha.... If you are in my husband's part, what did you feel when your kid say to you that he is not a baby anymore? I think some of you had a grown up children, what can you advise on how to deal with them?

Its hard to let them grow up isn't it?I didnt have any boys until my grandson came along and he just turned 10 he is being the same way with the kisses and hugs,its fine if its me but he shakes hands with his papa because he thinks boys should kiss boys Ha Ha so we just do it his way. Yes, i think its hard to let them grow up.. i said to my husband that this is the time that we accept the truth that our children will soon have their own life and all we have to do is to guide them in the right way.

i am a single mother and i have a 12 year old son and i tell my son to get of my knee he is to heavy for me now but he says he loves me that is good but he is just to heavy my daughter does it too but she is lighter she gives me kisses and she says she loves me but my son does not kiss me just hug take care

Tell your husband to feel proud at having a growing up son'
of eleven and have him offer to shake hands instead, man to
man.Just treat your son same as aways but respect that he
feels too old to hugged. sooner or later he will want one last
hug when something goes wrong in his little world.
