I lived in an apartment on the second floor of a two family house with a big yard and fields close by. I was able to let my cat out whenever he asked to go out. One day he came home and was meowing at the door to let me know he was in the hall. I had a window in the door so I was able to see him, he had filled the area around the door with live grasshoppers. I guess he wanted me to see his gift he brought me. He would catch mice etc. This was a first for the gift of live grasshoppers.

hi sherlock interesting and funny for a cat to behave like that.was it that he brought and was boasting for the gift hr brought or informing you and perhaps sort of warning you to be ready and remove them from the spot.

My friend was playing some rock music, and we were playing with my cat. I wiggled a string above her head, and she turned to face us. (She was lying on her back.) She put her paws up and it looked as if she was strumming a guitar, and at the same second someone from my friend's music started playing a guitar solo. XD It looked like my cat was rocking out.

Mine would have to include my dog. My dog tries to play like they play. One day my cat Tigger was sitting in the middle of the room minding his own business. My dog being a dog can't swat like cats can. He walks over to Tigger and pushes him. Tigger falls over like a brick wall. the look on his face was "What the heck just happened" My hubby almost fell of the sofa laughing his butt off.

hi trowbdon really funny. many a time when we observe these smaller creatures we will find that at one time or the other either we ourselves or our kids have been doing and involving in the similar activities with our siblings or our friends!!!

Mine was when my son's cat, Taz, came to check out the new groceries that I had brought into the house. I brought in a shopping bag full of canned stuff and sat it on the floor. Tax went to check it out (like normal - he's a nosy kitty) and got his head stuck through one of the handles of the shopping bag. He continues to struggle and wound up getting his front legs through. He wound up with his head through one of the handles and the other around his body. Of course, he couldn't move because the bag of canned goods was so heavy - so there he was, stuck in the handles of the shopping bag. I had to use a scissors to cut the handles to release him. Poor guy, he was quite embarrassed because my family was all standing around laughing at his predicament.
