Hypocrite 'Green' Celebs

Hypocrites really blow the cheese off my cracker. The biggest hypocrites on the planet are so called 'Green' celebrities who cry about how our carbon gas emissions are killing the planet yet they themselves emit more greenhouse gas than some small nations.

Offenders are Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney, and Brad Pitt.

All these folk are Prius lovers. Admittedly, a Prius does get better than average gas mileage, a hybrid better still. But the Prius Penance in the world cannot make up for the taking of private jets. All these people jet about in the lap of luxury in private gas guzzlers that take several times the fuel to move one person than commercial flying.

The only one who is somewhat redeemed is Leo DiCaprio. He drives Prius, and shuns private jets if possible.

There are some that are true to their beliefs.
Go look up Ed Begley Jr. He produces all the electricity he needs and then some, strictly using solar panels. He rides a bike most everywhere within distance, and will use public transportation or drive the electric car if it isn't feasible, or the hybrid if it's a last resort. He won't fly unless he absolutely has to. He won't use a paper or plastic bag from the store, he carries his own reusable bags with him. He doesn't buy anything that he can't recycle into something else.
Larry Hagman is another. He not only produces enough of his own energy to support his own property, he uses it to support the needs of 5 other low income families.

I know there are legit environmentalists in the celeb world. Unfortunately, the hypocrites give them a really bad name. Thank you for pointing out those two.
