who to believe on global warming

If there is one contraversional subject it must be global warming. While everybody agrees that global warming is a reality and we should stop it, the projections differ a lot. I recently read that the sea level is rising already for the longest time. And that a realistic increase in sea level is sixteen inches. Quite a bit lower than Al Gore's 7m. What do you think? Can we still turn the tide by adding more green energy, have programs that reduce CO2 output and replant trees -as we do now- or is doomday irreversible.

It is real, and I don't know but I guess even 16 inches would be a disaster for many low lying areas. As for turning the tide, I don't know if it can be done, but we certainly must, each and every one of us do our best to try and reduce the harm that we have inflicted on the planet.
