Do you use fresh items for your sandwich?

I love sandwiches with fresh fish or meat. It's so much nicer to have fresh tuna and serve it with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, some olive oil and a little mayo, fresh herbs and freshly grinded pepper. What do you say? Is it worth the extra time? (cost is about the same).

I do like to add fresh onions, lettuce, tomato, sometimes some spinach to my sandwiches. It's much healthier and tastes fantastic! As long as you use it, it's worth buying, even if it DOES cost a little extra. I also love fresh fruit smoothies. Peanut butter-banana and blueberry-banana are two of my favorites. I just add some ice, a little milk (soymilk for me) and a splash of maple syrup and it's healthy and delicious to wash down that fresh sandwich! :-)

I like fresh veggies with my sandwhiches. i usually put lettuce and tomato as well as sometimes onions with them. I have been buying tomatoes on the vine because we have had a big tomato scare here. I just say that because i dont know if you are US or not.
