second career path

hi michelle, I think there's nothing better than taking a job that you enjoy. I can say that because I have experienced that already. I worked as a process engineer before and I have enjoyed my work as well as the company of my colleagues and superiors. But since I have been working for the company for quite sometime already and I haven't experienced working in another environment, I grabbed the opportunity that I had last year for a better paying job but the nature of the job is totally different. I did not really have any experience or background to be a service engineer, but I accepted the job because I said to myself that I would want to take another line of work. I was excited during the first few weeks, but I did not enjoyed the job even with the company of my new colleagues. So now I am thinking of resigning from my current job and I think I'm willing to accept a lower paying job as long as I would be enjoying the job (back as a process engineer). I know how you feel when you say that you are not happy anymore. We are on the same situation right now. But I guess if we are willing to take the risk to take another job (for me once again), we will be more happy and contented. I hope we find the right job for us soon.

It would certainly be best to be working in what one is good at and what really enjoys doing too. One may be in a different profession, but that could be kept just a stepping stone, to go on to the career one has the will and the skill.
