Oh ! too sad . why don;t you go to doctor near you? any way as friend i only can say don't use the medicines without consulting with doc. and you can do some freshen making exercises listen to music .play with pet . Make easy for yourself and do those things which are useful to you. At last you have avoid thinking a simple thing for a long time.

Hi there. If this is a problem that you have had off and on for many years, then you really should see a mental health profesional about it. There are also a number of suport grouops both on and offline that would be more than willihng to help you through this. Don't worry about the fact that you're so yong. When I had my first experience with debilitating mental illness, I was nineteen years old. Personally, I am glad that it happenned to me then instead of when I was, like, foty or something. At least this way, I had not really begun my life yet, and I could concentrate on getting the right combination of medication and suport to work for me. If you want to talk more with me about this, you can feel free to either add meas a friend or email me at maggie@erik-burggraaf.com. God bless: Maggie.

Completely normal. You are human, right? And being a twenty-something can be unbearable at times. I've had plenty of borderline nervous breakdowns that cost me quite a lot in the long run. I honestly can't say what can make you happy. You just have to find something yourself. And don't give up.

People do tend to think you can snap out of it,or because you are 20 it can't be depression. It sounds to me like depression and I know you can't just snap out of it.Go see a doctor and try to find a medication that works for you.Don't be discouraged if one don't work. What works for one person may be different then what might work for you. I have been battling depression for many years,I can't concentrate either.I know how difficult it is just to get up in the morning and get in the shower. You just don't feel like doing anything. For me I function best late at night,I don't know why that is but that is when I get things done.During the day all I want to do is crawl back into bed and hope I don't wake up. Good luck to you, Jas

This is not normal at all, but I wouldn't say that you are sick. I'm older than you and just thought that it was normal to feel this way because of all that I do. Then, my dad passed away and everything hit the fan. Not only could I not study but I didn't want to. I didn't want to do anything. Getting out of bed was a hard thing for me to do. One of my teacher friends suggested I go see a doctor, and not the regular one. Here it is not about five months later and I feel much better. I'm on pill management still, but I can see the change. I like to get out of bed in the morning, to my homework, clean the house, hang out with friends, and I have focus and motivation. Don't be afraid of people calling you crazy because you are on medications. This is your life and you should do whatever it takes to make it better.

Hi agladiator, At twenty years of age, you should be happy and enjoying life. Maybe you are worrying too much about your studies. I know that studying is important, but you must also think about other things. What makes you feel happy? Do you have friends that you enjoy spending time with? It is very important to be able to laugh, and also very necessary. Laughter is better than any medicine, and puts a song in your heart and a spring in your step. Blessings.

Your normal, being 20 is a crucial stage of life. You tend to think of the future miles before you and all stuff that you do in school can really get you in depression. I know college life is really hard’ it’s the first step of what you will be in the society. Try to relax and take it slow. Have fun.
