If MyLot didn't pay, would you still be a member?

I haven't been a member of MyLot very long, and when I joined I wasn't really on into it. The blog I read on the community of MyLot said it was addictive. After being here for sometime, I have to admit that it is and I probable would stay a member whether it paid or not. What would you do if MyLot didn't pay anymore? Karen

Yes, I would still be a member but I probably wouldn't be here as often and I doubt the site would have as much variety of thought and discussion as it has now since the offer of payment is the main reason we come here.

Thanks for responding, you might be right, most of us came here in the first place to make money. I would still stay and visit as often as I do now. I think MyLot is a great information line, and most of the people here are very willing to help. Thanks again, Karen

Well, yes, I would still be a member, but I will not be as active as I am now.. Especially if I have jobs on the Internet that will pay me..

Thanks for responding, I would still stay as active here as I do now(course I have other Internet things I do that pay). I like to comment, post questions and the people I meet here. I get alot of info from the other myloters' and find them very helpful. Thanks again, Karen

If MyLot wasn't a paying website, I would use it to search for referrals for other websites.

Yes I think I probably would still be a member even if it didn't pay. Yes I can admit that my reason for joining MyLot was because it paid but now I love joining in discussions and getting a chance to air my views. I've also made friends and met people from around the world which I think is worth more than money. I also love the fact that this site challenges me and makes me think about aspects of life that I normally wouldn't.

Hello Beki, and thanks for responding. I, too joined MyLot because I could make money expressing myself. Now, that I have been here for awhile, I know I would stay a member whether they paid or not, I enjoy myself here alot and yes, I have met many people here. So many people here are willing to help, its a nice place to come and socialize. Thanks again, Karen

Hi, that's a good question! And I'll answer it with "Yes" - even MyLot had deleted my all discussions and earnings because a stupid rule(posting direct refferal links is avoid, and I did it, and someone reported me...). For the minimum sum ($10) I have to have 500 posts...supposing I'm writing 10-15 by day, there's more than 1 month to succeed it. In that interval of time, you certainly make friends, a Lot of friends, and you became more interested of them than the money. I already have many new friends(like you :-)), and a Lot of very interesting discussions. I could write a lot about it... Best regards, ArkhAnum
