Heavy Winds and Rain Today.

I wrote this yesterday...
Oh there's a typhoon in the Philippines today and I woke up at 4:30 am because of the strong winds. There is no electricity since 4:30 this morning and too my cell phone is not fully charged so I can't communicate with friends. It's one gloomy day with no electricity and continuous downpour of rain, but rather than sulk and feel miserable, I chose to look at the positive side. At least since there won’t be so many things to do, this will be a perfect time to rest. Nevertheless i am praying for a better weather soon so as to avoid flash floods and other disasters.

You're right. It was really a very stormy Sunday here in the Philippines. I wasn't able to sleep in the wee hours of the morning. I was really scared thinking what if our roof will be blown away? LOL. And at exactly 3 am the power was cut-off. I think I slept at around 5 am? And when I woke up at 9 am, my room was flooded, my printer was wet, too glad, my laptop was high. Anyway, I'm really glad that the weather here is now good. It's really good to see some sun but still the winds are strong. No classes for my kids right now. And I think rest will be good for today.
